Meals in Singapore (7/27 to 7/28)

On our way from our quaint, tiny hotel room (more to come in a later post) to the Singapore Flyer, we found ourselves in CityLink mall/Marina Square (stealing as much cool, non-humidified air as possible). Like any good shopping mall, there was a food court. We got in for the early bird specials–around 5pm–and kept ourselves company in the vacant Thai Express.

Brianna ordered what amounts to Thai chicken soup. I got the soft-shell crab curry. I enjoyed it tremendously. Crunchy, sweet-spicy soft-shell crab with white rice. Yummy.

The next morning we completely westernized ourselves by ordering venti and grande coffees, chocolate croissant, and an egg-white veggie wrap at the local Starbucks (at Central, a mall with the Clark Quay subway stop). Ironically enough, we sat in Starbucks and wrote this while mooching off of the Burger King free wifi (Starbucks, wtf?).

For lunch on Saturday, we grabbed some crunchy tempura.

And a real Coke and Sprite. By real I mean there was no high fructose corn syrup.
