While half sleeping, we went out for our first dinner with Mackenzie, Taylor and Jana. A little charming place called Suzi’s. You know, right off the city street, alongside a hand car wash. Outdoor seating in plastic lawn chairs. But an extremely tasty fare! We indulged in 30 chicken-on-a-sticks with peanut sauce, fried rice, and warm pitas packed with melted cheese paired with a lentil sauce, a spicy sauce and a something else I can’t remember. One of the pitas had raisins inside. We washed it down with fresh lime juice. Despite the charming ambiance, there was free wifi which enabled us to book our bus coach from KL to Singapore. I write this while cruising down the highway/freeway/tollway in my cushy leather seat (more in the next blog).
P.S. – I was too tired to remember to photograph the food last night. Sorry!
