Although the streets are just as dirty and polluted with mopeds and flea markets as Kuta, our hotel is a serene sanctuary of vegetation, bird songs, and the occasional rooster howl (no, not just in the morning&amp;mdash;all day long).<\/p>\n<p>Our room wasn&#8217;t ready when we arrived, so we took a load off by the pool. After we got settled in our room, we decided to take a walk into town. More markets and street-side solicitations for &#8220;tacksi.&#8221; The next guy who holds up a TAXI sign and asks me if I want a ride, I&#8217;ll shoot&#8211;with my camera.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style
